My bird period
I can't stop painting birds. It soothes me.
Canary 6"x6" on wood.
Chickadee 6"x6" on wood.
Blue jay 6"x6" on wood.
Robin 6"x6" on wood.
Doves 16"x20" on canvas.
I keep wanting to give them all sad titles. Whenever I look at the last one I think the dove on the left is about to say "Yeah...no, this isn't going to work out".
I also keep having to stop myself from giving them all silly hats.
Not to be a debbie downer, but I have been fairly depressed for most of this summer (probably why I haven't been updating lj very much). There are many reasons behind this, but I don't wish to bother anyone with the details. Only Philippe really knows how bad I've been feeling. Needless to say, I hope that with the beginning of going to a new school this September, in a new program, my mood will brighten. At the very least I will be kept busy. I can't wait for this month to be over, but in the meantime I hope I can make it a productive one.
