Ripping
I've been googling all morning without any joy, so can anyone help me with a pointer to ripping a section of dvd (.vob, .ifo files) onto my hard-drive to make a small clip viewable in WMP or Quicktime? I don't have a dvd burner. My dvd player/software is cyberlink powerdvd if that makes any difference and so far I have downloaded a few trial versions of so-called converters such as Super DVD Ripper (which will copy the .vob file and then tell me it 'cannot open avi file'!)
