Is what writers have to say other than their writing important? I say yes, because the best writers deliberately consider the philosophical contexts of their writing. Yes, there are some who simply tell a good story, but in my circle of literary friends, I most respect those that search for truths in the chaos of meaning. Apparently, Carolin Seeliger and Tobias Wenzel agree.
