[ Personality ] :
Rose is a very intelligent person, which is probably one of the first things
people notice about her. She has a rather extensive vocabulary that she
puts to use in conversation, often making others look unintelligent in
comparison.
Rose is also one of, if not the most, serious people in Homestuck. She is
not the type of person to joke around or goof off, especially if there
is a job to be done. In fact, she rather disapproves of the way John
seems to never take anything serious. They are polar opposites in that
regard; while John sees the fun in things, Rose does not, rather
focusing on negatives, or just remaining neutral. Though, she has joked
on a few rare occasions, so she isn’t exactly above doing so, she just
doesn’t do it very often at all.
In fact, when she does deign to joke around, she is sarcastic and even
mocking when she does so. Sarcasm is also another big part of Rose’s
personality, and it’s something she’s become quite adept at, to the
point others may not even be aware of it if she’s being particular
subtle with it. While she can definitely be subtle, Rose can also be
blunt and harsh if the need is there.
She also displays quite a bit of cynicism over the course of the comic, a
big example being with the way she treats her mother’s acts of kindness;
that is, she doesn’t believe them to be genuine, and tends to avoid her
mother at all costs.
Rose
also isn’t quick to do things for other people, though that isn’t to
say she doesn’t do them, if there’s something in it for her then she’s
more willing to do it than if there wasn’t.
Psychoanalysis (and knitting) is one of her hobbies, and she tends to be very
analytical of people and their emotions and actions. She’s rather good
at this, and tends to have more of an understanding of people and their
actions than they realize. Rose is very good at digging deep and she is
certainly good at using this for manipulative purposes if needed, or
otherwise using it for something more beneficial.
For all of this, if it hasn’t put people off of her, Rose actually is
capable of being nice in her own way, and she’s never really malicious
in any of it when friends are involved.

Well I certainly do not appear to be in the Medium anymore. It seems I
have landed in Atlantis, of all places. How very peculiar; I suppose
it’s possible the game glitched and tossed me somewhere else.
But Atlantis, really? I expected more excitement than that. Hell,
perhaps? No, that would be rather cliché. Atlantis is going to have to
suffice..
