So I know a lot of my flist doesn't really care about the bandom stuff, and I'm sorry in advance if I start to irritate y'all with the squee. I'm just in a really happy place right now, feeling that first flush of new-fandom love, and I can't necessarily contain myself.
On that note, I have news that makes me so insanely happy I could die:
I HAVE TICKETS TO FALL OUT BOY. \o/
They're going to be in Orange Beach, Ala., only about an hour from my house, on November 2nd. And I have pit tickets. I am going to be front and center if it kills me. ^____^
Also. Fall Out Boy just premiered their new video today. It's really kind of amazing. They're working with Invisible Children, and this vid incorporates footage from the trip the band took to Uganda recently. WARNING: some of the images in this video can be difficult to look at. The video contains an interlude in the middle that is a dramatization of what some of the kids in Uganda are going through/have gone through, and it's not easy to see. But it's important.
