I know I haven't updated in forever... but the end of my 6-week summer fun has come to an end... what a summer it was... thats for sure...white water rafting, driving all over the southeast, memories I'll cherish for a lifetime... I really had a great summer... but II'm sure its not over yet... ha ha.
It all started back at the end of June... Andrew came to visit from Florida for a few days... that was an interesting weekend...
Andrew and I at the New River...taking a look at the rapids we took on!
Right before we jumped... only way down off the 25 foot cliff into the New River...
The boys of West Virginia... this was the night the cops ended up getting called to my apartment twice... ha ha.
In July...I went to Washington, DC, Doswell, Virginia to Kings Fest, celebrated turning 24, went to Wilmington, North Carolina and saw my first Charleston, WV baseball game...
Liz and I at Kings Dominion...
You can barely see him.. but thats one of my favorite artists... Jeremy Camp!
Birthday dinner at Macados with Laticha and LaKecia...
Carolina Beach... just outside Wilmington, NC....
In August... my parents came up from Florida, I went to Tulsa and made one random drive to South Carolina...
My parents and I at Smokey's on the Gorge in Fayetteville...
A picture of the memorial fence at the Oklahoma City National Memorial...
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Phil and I and some random statue in downtown Tulsa...
Lisa and I at the Oklahoma City National Memorial...
My mom and brother and sister were flying through Tulsa while I was there... this is us at the airport...for those of you who have known me forever, Daniel is now 14 and Elizabeth is 12... they are getting so big!!!
The chairs at the Oklahoma City National Memorial... each one represents a person who died in the bombing
Oral Roberts University in Tulsa... this was the neatest statue I saw in the whole city... it was huge!
Now I'm in West Virginia.. just enjoying life... going to Tulsa was a fresh of breath air... just got me thinking about a lot of things and figuring a lot out... so the summer of '06 was an interesting one and I wouldn't change a single minute of it...
