Alucard is one demanding bastard. He simply did not let go until i gave him half of my Sunday. Now i got no working clothes ironed and my fingernails need attention. Oh well.

I love the character design. I have a thing for long coats. Should I watch this ran-chan? Would you recommend it? Also, when is this series set? Cos he looks like he's wearing Victorian attire.

Yep, his style is Victorian. Although i think he's from the 1400s. The series is modern day setting. The red eyes both mesmerise and scare me.

Sure, watch it. At first you'll find that the anime does not give enough details. It's more a collection of snapshots of things that happen, but the amazing thing is it evokes feelings all the same. I guess the gritty soundtrack adds to that.

I'm planning on reading the manga. Based on what i've seen of the first few chapters and the reviews, i expect the personalities of the characters to be explored more in the manga.

Yep, Island icon. It's to celebrate my finally getting hold of the book. Made it yesterday. You want? Or you can do it yourself with a different cropping using Photoshop. Just set both the height and width at 100, then crop the image however you like. I downloaded the book cover from opentrolley.com.sg. :)
