I'm kind of amused that the chemicals that permanently blinded Matt Murdock don't seem to have done any damage to his lovely lashes. Kind of the opposite of Zuko's situation. (Unless you believe the headcanon that Zuko does have low vision in his left eye, but he can compensate pretty well and never brings it up because of his whole Don't You Dare Pity Me thing.)
