Watched the "Agent Carter" pilot tonight. I liked it, but then, since I'm a feminist femme who likes historical fiction and superheroes, this show was pretty much pandering to me. (Peggy Carter kicks ass, battles sexism, and passes the Bechdel Test in fabulous midcentury clothes!) Peggy is a bit of a Strong Female Character Who Takes No Shit, but that is not the limit of her characterization by any means. Also, it's canonical - Steve is Peggy's fridged boyfriend!
