Trying to make a tequila-based liqueur, since we have a bunch on hand (it was half price plus a possible rebate, and my dad's a mad bargain hunter), but my dad's more of a Scotch or gin guy and I'm more of a rum and liqueur girl. Gold tequila + fresh lime (rind and a little juice) + dried orange peel + lightly sweetened with agave nectar. Maybe it'll need some other flavors to balance it, since tequila's a bit bitter on its own and strong citruses can be kind of harsh, but I won't know that until it's been infusing for a while.
