I had my first day as a para-educator sub today. It mostly went well, except I can't work the school copy machine for crap. It has a rather elaborate high-tech interface that doesn't follow quite the same rules as any other copier I've used before, and I am no techpriest at the best of times. At least they're letting me come back tomorrow.

I did a bit better at being a classroom aide for a bunch of semi-literate toothless miniature barbarians (or, to use the polite professional term, first-graders.)
