BTW, I've got 12 DW invite codes if you want one.

I just gave one away today, but there are plenty more. Let me know if you want one, because you should get going from LJ while the going's good. (thanks to s_j for the link ( Read more... )

I just...I've been here for seven years. This is where I started blogging. I post here every other week now. If it goes under, maybe it's time to stop.

I know what you mean. I joined DW, but it feels like a ghost town. I put all my journal entries over there, imported them... so I hope I won't lose them if LJ goes belly up... but I don't even know how to back them up, really. And... I don't know. I wish LJ wouldn't go belly up.

imported entries don't show up on people's friends pages, though, so nobody would know they were there.

I understand, but if no one goes over there, then it will always be a ghost town... it's kind of a self-perpetuating cycle.

I suppose I am not that attached to LJ as a place. I have had so many internet communities die, that I am more concerned with keeping up with the people as opposed to the place. We can migrate: LJ is a shell for me. And DW has the same feature, possibilities for communities, and privacy things built in to it. It's not as familiar, but it is a good option.
