NaNoWrimo 2008
So I’m going to go out on a limb and trying something different in the coming months. I’m going to participate in NaNoWrimo. What is NaNo you ask? It’s the National Novel Writing Month challenge. In it writers have 30 days to write a 50K word novel.
That means that I’ll have to write approximately 1600 words a day y’all! Egads….what a challenge…..but one that I’m willing to take. The good thing is that the challenge encourages writers to just write, not edit and not obsess. I’m hopeful that it will help me with the latter so that I can bang out some good stuff then go back and concentrate on the finer details later.
