Speaking of books and Finland, I got a graphic novel from Finland today (translated naturally). It's pretty darn good so far.

Well, it seems to be a mix up for words Perkele and Kerberos, Kerberos is the three-headed dog of Hades in Greek mythology, but perkele is a finnish cussword. It's also the name of satan, but before christianity it was also an alternative name of Ukko, the chief god in finnish old religion.

haha you nailed it. I got to the part in the book where they were going for Kerberos but miss spelled it. The English version doesn't mention Perkele's connection (probably figured we wouldn't get it). Satan makes sense since it's one of those death metal bands.
