SO bored the entire weekend. At the moment, I don't have such a song. I guess I'm too busy and anxious so I'm not in the mood to listen to music -- I focus on either music or work, but not both at the same time. Currently the ones I empathize with most are Rock Plaza Central's My Children Be Joyful and Modest Mouse's Float On -- they both say "have faith, everything's gonna be fine". The one that I'm actually *listening* to the most now, on the other hand, is The Good The Bad & The Queen's Northern Whale (and the rest of their CD) -- I have no idea what it's about really, but I'm in that kind of mood.
If you wanna hear some of these tell me and I could upload or burn them!

haha ya i totally agree! Nothing beats taking a walk or jog in the garden while listening to some nice songs. At the end of it all the pent up emotions are released. I guess its like having someone listen to you talk about all your problems. Just that in this case, you don't have to worry about finding the right words to express what you're feeling, don't have to worry about what the other person's thinking or whether you should tell something to him / her and whether you're telling it in the right way etc etc. It's a nice being-embraced feeling. So when i don't listen to music for quite some time i start to pms. LOL not that bad la, just that music really does much to soothe ppl's feelings. And i believe even the most emotionally detached and unfeeling person can be touched by appropriate songs.
Haha I've never heard any of the songs you mentioned. But that's because the scope of music I listen to is so limited (I'm rather picky about songs). But the title "Northern Whale" does sound interesting -- enigmatic and poetic. :) somehow it conjures up an image of those aurora lights flashing about, and then everything's misty and coloured this dark midnight blue with streaks of light-ice-blue interspersed throughout, and lots of icebergs floating on a luminescent sea. LOL imagination overload.
