the mysterious building
As I was walking back from the chiropractor's office, I passed this huge building. It's a bright orange temple dedicated to an ancient Hindu god disguised as a vegetarian restaurant. The entrance is in this shady, narrow stone stairway where these neon green ivy-like plants reach out their fingers and leaves to touch you as you walk past. The entrance door then opens into a vast garden with statues of more gods. I want to go!
School has started. This year I want to push myself to go out more and not be a hermit all the time. I decided to do more volunteering, but I want to get more involved with the school and get out more places, make friends. I think this will help me cope with school, but it's difficult to put myself out there since my primary instinct is to stay home and not do anything xD
