I guess that's when it happened. I was looking in on the flowers here, and when I came back to the house... they were both gone. I don't think Foot saw or heard anything either.

And Frederic... he was very much the same, but here ... there was a darkness in his heart that he didn't have before. Maybe I just never noticed it...
But we were all from different versions of the world I came from anyway. I guess they weren't the same people I knew after all. [ They certainly seemed it though. ]
