[ In the early afternoon, Polka is working in the garden rather busily - there's quite a lot of it to make sure the flowers are healthy. Hi Rena! And thank you - it took a long time to get everything planted, and I guess I kind of lost track of what I was doing - but I'm used to there being so many flowers around, I couldn't help myself.

They're really nice to see! They do brighten up a place with lots of color. I'm sorry I didn't notice them the first time I visited your home, but they really are beautiful!

I think so too! And it's all right, they were in the back yard after all. I haven't planted anything in the front yet - I'm going to ask Ion to help me with that, since he wanted to.

Hehe, thank you! And, yes, actually! I was very surprised - they may not be exactly the same, but they're close enough to it at least. Some of them I've never seen before, but they're just as pretty.

It's the same for me too, there are some plants here that are the same as back home, and then there are others that I've never seen before either. You found the seeds for them in a shop?

Yes - inside the apron pocket when I went to get my belongings actually. It's a shame that more flowers from people's homeworlds don't turn up here - I'm sure it would make them more comfortable. [ There's a pause, and then a small sneeze. ]

I wish that happened too, I'd love to see what other plantlife exists in other worlds. When I first arrived here, I noticed some of the trees in the forest are different than the ones near my village.

The trees look somewhat similar, but the shine on the leaves is slightly different in the sun. The grass smells a little different too, but close! I'm learning more about the plants here from Mr. Labrador who works at the pharmacy.

[A lie? ;_; What's wrong, Polka?] All right. It might just be the pollen in the air, but it shouldn't be too bad though.

He's very nice. I'm also learning how to make herbal medicines from him as well. We had some medicinal plants at home, but knowing how to make medicines here will be helpful.

[Searching internets now! ... She's sick? ;__;] Spring time is one of the best times for gardening, but there's also allergies too. Will you be okay?

That sounds a lot like the floral powder mom and I made back home. We'd use the roots and leaves for the powder, and the rest of the flowers for teas.

It's medicinal powder - but I can make it from any kind of flower really. The effectiveness varies of course, depending on the type of flowers.

Really? That would be great! I'll let you know when I'm ready to work in the garden again. [ It takes a lot out of her, and she has to pick the flower and everything. ] Maybe we could have a garden party afterwards!
