The nice thing about being one of those people who works through the book by way of the ficlets is that since there is relatively little compliant fic available, folks all are grabbyhands about the fic, and DAMN the commentage feels nice.
Unrelated to that, this song keeps coming up on my WMP, and it is one of those songs that, good grief, I do not want my kids asking about the sentiment, but I like it anyway.
