That's the thing. They don't. There is a segment of society that seriously believes thinking a thing is the same as doing it. What I am about to say is NOT a slam on Christians in general, or any religious group in general because most reasonable people regardless of religious beliefs understand the distinction, but the notion is something related to it being a sin to covet one's neighbor's wife (this is one of the ten commandments); the sin there is not taking her, hurting her, raping her, touching her, anything like that. It's coveting her. And some folks literally take that to mean, thinking about a sin is just as much a sin as the action. Or at least--the notion may come from multiple places; that's the one with which I'm familiar.

Needless to say, I don't agree with this. I don't, personally, write much fic that could be easily construed as noncon, chan, or similar. However, I've certainly read it, and I certainly believe this is not the same thing as harming children. (DUH). So.

DD deleted on purpose in order to be not visible in order to create an archive, just in case.

There is no official word, since the mods of the deleted comms (and RPG LJs and I dunno what else) haven't been warned. See the link to the morons up there, and get a sense of the stupid.
