Oh, this is lovely. :) You did a great job portraying Ginny's relationships with her brothers, without being heavy-handed or overdone.

Beautiful! Of course Ron is the one who didn't do anything at all but treat her normally. He'd have botched it if he tried anything else. XD

Also, the last part with Bill made me realize something that's actually pretty obvious and I should have thought about before. It's extremely likely that in the books, Ginny's liking for and skill with hexes and curses is a direct result of what happened to her in her first year. I can imagine she would want to learn a million different ways to protect herself from it happening again. So taking your story into account, Bill would have only started her with what he taught her.

I can imagine Ginny becoming the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher when she grows up. Maybe once Voldie's gone, the position won't be cursed anymore. XD

Thanks. Yeah, I was kind of thinking how she likes the hexes and had to get that from somewhere, and then what big brothers might do to help, you know, depending on how much bigger big meant. :D

I really like this. I especially love the part with the twins waiting until she was ready for jokes. Very nice. :)

Fabulous...she perhaps learned too much too early and not enough too late, and the family acknowledge this here.

Yeah, kind of not enough information but too much at the same time, and there was this consequence.
