See, hpsquick is doing crossovers, and there's the fortune cookie thing, and I don't even know where this came from. Other than the fortune, course, which is at the end.

in which, Snape gets a late night visitor and a surprise )

crossover, all fic, snape/spock, snape

Okay, here I'll admit what a culturally illiterate idiot I am and confess that I've never watched an entire episode of Star Trek. Just the same, though, I loved this! The dialogue... so perfect- I'll just assume that your take on Spock is as perfect as is your grasp of Snape.

More! More! :)

Hee. On the other hand, in my house, my kids used to ask me to sing them the Star Trek song as a lullaby. They would even specify which ST: original series; next generation; deep space 9... Or the X files theme. Or the simpsons. Ummmm yeah, the possibility exists that the TV is on maybe a bit much.

Thanks for the feedback, anyway. I don't know if my Spock is in character. Maybe he is. ??

Glad to amuse. Heh. :) What got me going here was the word "Indeed," which I cased Snape to utter in reading Green Eggs and Ham, and then got to tinking Spock wouls be similarly unadept at reading Seuss to a toddler...

The strange and twisted ways of my brain!

You think Spock's at least relatively in character?

Yes, I think Spock is totally in character.

You must must must write a long Spock piece. I must have more of this deliciousness.

I just re-read this bit again and I LOVE it!

I think the best thing about writing Spock/Snape is that theirloveISsointellectual. The whole mind meld idea is so very intimate I'm surprised it was ever allowed on TV (!). ;D Thanks.

*mumbles to self: must buy more icon space so can have Spock icon...* Heh.

Surprisingly, this is the first slashy bit of Trek fic I've ever read. But it was cute, and well-characterized (at least, from the HP end; am not a big ST fan).

That *is* suprising. I thought everyone had read (or seen, in an adult movie venue of some sort) some sort of Kirk/Spock at some point... ;)

Thanks.

Hi! Farfalla here. Nice story! Interesting idea.

I'm a big K/S nut and I run one of the online archives for it, so naturally I just *have* to ask--

or seen, in an adult movie venue of some sort

Seen? Oh dear God in Heaven, I want to *see*!!!!!!!

Sorry. Been a while, and I have no idea where one would find. Just know it exists. :)

Okay, so I have read all of three things of yours today and this has to be my favorite. I'm a Trek fan of old. I loved your Spock. He was spot-on. Truly fascinating piece of work.

*grins* You really like odd pairings, don't you?

Goody. This is the first "Spock is right" comment on this--everyone else professes to have no sense of whether spock would be right or not (!!)

And yeah, I'm having soooo much fun with pairings. ;)

Thanks.

Glad to have given you a perspective on him then. I sent a link to a Trek fan, so it'll be interesting to see how she likes it.
