Ai to yuuki dake ga tomodachi sa
My mom has been/is visiting this week/end. She actually leaves tomorrow, so I have to take her to the airport in the evening. It's been really fun to see her. I don't get to see my family very often, maybe once every 1-2 years. Mom got a good deal on a plane ticket, so she came to visit even though I don't have any vacation time left. 
We have been having a good time any way. We did some holiday shopping, but I still have a few more things to pick up for other people.
The weather here is finally to the "normal" temperatures for this area this time of year...right now it's -9F/-23C. Ah~ that's pretty cold. It wouldn't be so bad, but it's windy and so it feels colder and then just blows snow around over the ice. Mr. Yuki doesn't like to go outside in this weather since it's super cold on his paws. Our walks are pretty short! SO for my overseas friends, I will trade days of sub-zero temps for days of rain anytime.
Please let me know if you want to switch lives for the next 3.5 months.
