floppycorpse diseased again
In an irritating turn of events, I am sick again. I did not go to work yesterday (for my "mandatory" 5hrs overtime) and I am not going today. I am kind of annoyed about the whole overtime thing on the weekends. It's difficult for me to stay late during the week because my dog has been home for 9 hours with no bathroom breaks. I don't want to extend that time. So here I am on the weekend, which is legally my time and being asked to work. But I am sick so the overtime can be damned.
I also need to work on the house. I went over for a little bit yesterday, mostly so I could be there when the bed was delivered. I did a little work, but was tired out pretty quickly. I am using today to rest and get better. Went to the doc yesterday to check for strep. So far I am clear. I am feeling a lot of pressure to finish up work in the house quickly so I am not paying a mortgage and rent. I can't afford that.
