It's official today. Now the real work begins. Restarting all the utilities, cleaning, replacing doors, patching mortar, refinishing floors, replacing carpet. It's going to be my life for the next couple months. *yes*
When I was little I had sort of a list or a time line of things that I wanted to happen in my life. Like going to college, traveling, visting the British Museum (yes, it's own category), Egypt, Japan, and owning a house at 30 are just a sampling. I am sort of surprised that it actually happened. Of course there are many things on the list that haven't been done yet, but I've got time. : )
OH and I got to see what my backyard actually looks like now that the snow is melted. lol A large portion of it is gardened (excellent) so I will be looking forward to see what blooms this year. Since I don't know what plants are there, I won't be doing much planting this year, but I am going to set up a compost station and change the playhouse to a potting shed.
I broke down and listened to Sakura Girl today. It's a very NEWS song. I like it and their dancing on Music Station was better than in the past, but it seems like they need some fresh choreography because it was like watching a bunch of their old dances mished into a new one. The ending was ADORABLE though. Massu <3
I recommend dropping everything and watching the
music video for Knights of Cydonia by Muse. It's brilliant.
