floppycorpse and the weekend that wasn't.

Well, so I shouldn't really say that because I did have free time. Friday (payday) we ventured out to the infamous Lake Street and ate at a great little restaurant serving Mexican seafood dishes. SO YUMMY. Fried plantains for dessert....oh yesss.
I meant to go to work, but I needed to put 2 new tires on Deadly Hellraizer the Third. (my car). The tire place was having a sale so it was very busy and took a couple hours wait. Luckily for me,
ninja_tech was home from her morning photo shoot and picked me up. We pissed the day away and had a lovely lunch at our favorite cemetery picnic spot. Sounds slightly morbid, but it's a tradition hearkening back to the days where people really did stroll about and picnic in the cemetery. That's why they are often called Memorial Parks. NT went to a play/opera with some friends and I stayed home did my taxes and finished up watching Sapuri.

SO - Sapuri. Loved it. I temporarily took back previous rant about unsatisfactory kissing in j-dramas while I watched this series. Oh Kame. Thank you. In other hot news, I had a dream last night where Toma and Eita were naked and making out. I woke up and felt like I was the luckiest girl in the world.

Spent a few hours at work today, but not much. I had the sleepies all day so Sunday went really fast and now it's nearing the "bedtime prep" stage of the weekend. This makes me sad. I did a bit of cooking this evening. I made a light sweet n sour chicken for this week's lunches and a lovely soup that Mr. Pepin showed me how to make on his delightful television program.
