Summary: Tatsuya lost his memories, what will Ryo do?
It’s been 1 week since Tatsuya woke up from his coma. He remembered almost everyone. He got confused at first but the doctor said it was normal since he just woke up.
The next morning, when Jin and Kame went to visit him, he could tell who they were. Since then, they would visit him every so often. He didn’t leaved the hospital yet. The doctor wanted to do a check up on him first since he was in a coma for some times.
Ryo would tag along with his friends but Tatsuya still didn’t remember him. Ryo didn’t understand why he couldn’t remember him, but Pi told him that maybe it was because of the misunderstanding before the accident. Maybe Tatsuya was still angry at him.
He would be nice with him though, asking him if he were ok since he wasn’t talking much.
Tatsuya though that Ryo was one of his friends too. But couldn’t quite tell who he was exactly neither why he couldn’t remember him. Jin had said that they were close, confusing him even more.
Everytime he tried remembering Ryo, it was as if someone was stabbing his brain and he was crying. Ryo who didn’t want his boyfriend to be hurting said that if he was to remember him, he’ll remember one day, that he shouldn’t force himself. He was sad that Tatsuya didn’t remember him but he could be his friend for now. Even if it was really hard coming back home in their shared apartment all alone.
It’s already 1 month since Tatsuya got out of the hospital. Since he didn’t remember living with Ryo, Jin asked him to live with him for the time being. Kazuya couldn’t say anything to it since he knew the situation. He was hurting when Jin asked Tatsuya to live with him. They got in an argument, leaving Tatsuya confused.
“Why can’t he stay with Ryo??” Kazuya asked Jin that day
“You know we can’t let them live together! Tatsuya doesn’t remember him!”
“But you now that Ryo will take care of him!” Kazuya was arguing with Jin. He didn’t want Tatsuya to live with him. Even if they’re a couple, they don’t live together. “You’re doing it because you still love him, admit it! You can’t lie to me Jin, I know you better than anyone else here!” he added in the verge of crying.
“You know it’s not like that. You know I love you Kazuya, stop being sentimental will you?” Jin whispered to him. He knew he couldn’t lie to his lover but he can’t help being worried about Tatsuya. He is really important to him. Kamenashi was telling the truth. Jin didn’t stop loving him even though he knew he would never love him the same way. He couldn’t let him stay with Ryo, he was afraid the same thing would happen even if they were not together anymore.
“Ok. Do what you want Jin, but you can’t deny the fact that even if he doesn’t remember who Ryo really is, he’s still more closer to him than to you.” Kazuya said then leaved him alone in the hospital corridor.
“Jin? Can we go now?” Tatsuya asked him when he entered the room again.
“Yeah, let’s go” he smiled at him and took his luggage.
“Where is Kazuya? Did he leaved already?” he asked confused as to why Kamenashi wasn’t here with them.
“Yeah he had something to do. Do you want to eat something before we reach the apartment?”
“Nope it’s okay, thank you.” Tatsuya grinned at Jin. He was happy that Jin was here for him. He knew that Kazuya and him were a couple, but he didn’t care that he was a hindrance to their relationship.
When Ryo knew that Tatsuya was living with Jin, he was really mad at him. But couldn’t help it much. He and Kazuya were in the same situation. The two of them knew the real reason.
Even though, day by day, Ryo and Tatsuya would be closer and closer to each other, when he got home to Jin, everything was prepared for him. Jin would do anything to make Tatsuya happy.
He knew that sooner or later, Tatsuya and Ryo would be together again, but in the meantime he was glad that he could be the one making him happy.
2 months later, Tatsuya asked Jin why he and Kazuya were not together anymore.
Jin had said that they decided to break up since it wasn’t working. Tatsuya didn’t try to know much and just nodded his head.
He was eating his pasta happily when Jin put his thumb on his cheek. He was leaning his face closer to the other pressing his finger a little. Tatsuya was shocked at the sudden action but he closed his eyes tightly for what was about to happen.
Jin kissed him on the cheek and licked the cream on it. “You had some cream on your face” he said giggling.
“Ah… thanks” he blushed.
He is so cute! Jin though. He wanted to kiss him on the lips but he wouldn’t want Tatsuya to be afraid so he just kissed him on the cheek.
“Tatsuya, can I ask you something?” Jin said while eating his portion.
“What is it?”
“What is your relationship with Ryo? Do you remember him now?” Jin asked him while looking away.
“We are friends. We get along well. And nope I still don’t remember. Is there anything I should know?” Tatsuya was confused with Jin’s question.
“Nope, I just wanted to know, that’s all.” Jin said then kissed him on the cheeks again.
“Don’t do that!” Tatsuya said blushing.
“It’s because you are too cute” Jin said laughing. He got up and took their plate to wash them.
“I’m not cute” he whined and pout. “Ryo is always making fun of me. Saying I’m a Princess and everything.”
“He said that?” Jin asked curious. Of course Ryo would say that. He wasn’t calling him Hime for nothing. “What did you told him then?”
“ I kicked him on his legs” he pouted. They laughed about Ryo’s antics for sometimes and got to bed.
“Oyasumi Hime” Jin smirked.
“Oyasumi Bakanishi!” Tatsuya grinned and walked to his room.
Tatsuya was lying leisurely on his bed while reading some book when his phone biped, indicating that he received a message.
Fr: Ryo N.
To: Tatsuya
Hey Hime, how was your day? Hope everything is okay for you. Sleep tight, have nice dreams, and don’t forget to brush your teeth. Good night!
Reading it, Tatsuya giggled lightly. Him and Ryo got pretty close these past few days. They were hanging out often and he couldn’t deny the fact that he liked being with Ryo.
Fr: Hime
To: Ryo
My day was just fine. How about you? What did you do? Had fun? I was with Jin all day. Played video games. I already brushed my teeth hope you won’t forget too! And I’m not a Hime, midget!
Oyasumi!
Fr: Ryo N.
To: Tatsuya
Yes you are one. Because you’re cute like one ;-) Did you win against that Bakanishi? What did you eat?? Want some candy? I have chocolate…
Fr: Hime
To: Ryo
But I’m not a girl! (pout) Yes, I won. Jin is just an idiot. I had pasta and you? You have some candy?? Where did you get them?? I waaaaant!
Fr: Ryo N.
To: Tatsuya
Of course not. I know you’re not a girl, but you’re still cute. Anyway, I’ll give you the candy when we’ll meet ok? I know you love it that’s why I got them for you. Happy?
Fr: Hime
To: Ryo
You got them for me? Arigatouuuuuu Ryo-chan!! When do we meet? You’ll call me when you have time ok? Will go to sleep now. Oyasumi!!
Fr: Ryo N.
To: Tatsuya
Yup ok. Oyasumi Hime!
Tatsuya was happy, thus he had a pretty nice sleep where he was eating all the candy Ryo got him.
Jin, on the other side of the room could hear Tatsuya texting someone. When he heard him laughing he knew it was from Ryo.
He couldn’t sleep well that night. Deep thinking about what to do now. Ryo will probably ask Tatsuya out pretty soon. He couldn’t really accept that fact.
He fell asleep thinking of a plan to get Ryo away from his one-sided love.
