Aiba was really excited. Today was his day off, and he couldn’t wait anymore. He got up his bed, took a quick shower and got dressed.
He put a piece of bread in his mouth, took his car keys and went out his house.
Aiba finally arrived at the shop, his favorite one.
It’s been many days that he kept on talking about wanting to buy a puppy.
He got close to a glass window and looked lovingly at the two puppies in there.
There was a black and a white, both Labrador-Retriever breed.
The black one was slumping himself on the poor little white one who was sleeping.
“Good morning, sir, can I help you?” A tall man asked him gently.
“Yes. I want to buy a puppy. Which one of those two should I buy?” Aiba said without even looking at the man. The two puppies were really cute in Aiba’s eyes.
“Well, I have to say that those two are kind of inseparable. One time, a client was about to buy the little white one. When I tried to take him out the box, the black one bit my hand and they kept on barking and crying.” The saler said sadly. “I guess you will have to buy the two of them, if you want to have one of the two.” He added smiling.
“I see… how much are they?” Aiba asked still staring at the puppies. The white Labrador was now licking the black one’s nose.
“I will give you a discount since you have to buy the two of them instead of just one. Their price would be 120 000yen, is that okay with you? ”
“I guess it should be okay for two puppies…” Aiba wondered aloud.
The black puppy was making small noises as the white one was still licking his little nose.
“I will take the both of them please.” Aiba said and smiled widely. “They’re too cute and I have the space for them to be comfortable.” He added looking smugly at the dogs.
Once home, Aiba took the two puppies out of their box. They were sleeping peacefully one all over the other.
He put them in the special room he prepared for them and stared as the black one opened his eyes slowly. The white one was still sleeping, rolling himself around on the floor.
The black puppy got up and walked to the white one. Then, he touched his nose with his companion.
“You guys are really cute. What should I call you…” Aiba asked to himself. He thought of something and grinned at the puppies.
Aiba took the black puppy in his hands, separating him from the white one, still on the floor, and making the puppy cry.
“You are Ryo.” Aiba decided and patted the puppy’s head, then put him back on the floor.
He then caressed the white puppy’s body gently. “And you are Tatsuya.” He declared grinning.”
“You two look so much like RyoDa pair…” he laughed thinking of how his two friends are with one another.
As he was saying that, the white puppy opened his eyes and stared at his new master, then at the black puppy. He then walked really slowly, making small noises and licked his companion nose, just like when they were still in the store window.
The two little dogs slumped themselves on the floor and slept all cuddled together.
Aiba watched them amazed and giggled.
“Yup, really like Ryo and Tatsuya.”
