Ryo run and run under the heavy rain. He was soaking wet but he didn’t care. He kept running even if he was already out of breath. He had to stop this or he was doomed.
Ryo finally arrived at his destination. He knocked on the door several time and also pressed the door bell. The person he was looking for was obviously there.
Two long minutes passed when the door finally opened and revealed non-other than Ueda Tatsuya, looking curiously at him.
“Nishikido? What are you doing here?” he asked looking at his figure. “You are all wet! You’re going to be sick!” he exclaimed.
“I don’t care!” Ryo breathed heavily. He pressed himself on the door and looked with sad tired eyes at the other. “Tatsuya… don’t…” he said and lost his balance, luckily Tatsuya caught him in time before he touched the cold hard floor.
“Please don’t…” Ryo said then lost consciousness in Ueda’s arms.
Tatsuya stared at the fragile figure in his arms. He was kind of happy to see him here like that.
“Baka…” he smiled gently and carried him inside his apartment.
“I’m sorry Kazuya, something happened.” He said at his friend that was waiting in the living room.
“Nishikido-kun? What happened?” Kamenashi asked curious to see the person in Tatsuya’s arms.
“Dunno… he was just there soaking wet and lost consciousness on me…” he whined. “I have to take care of him now…” he added and went to his bedroom.
“As if you’re not happy to be able to take care of him…” Kazuya whispered for himself. “I shall take my leave then, we’ll talk tomorrow.” He said and leaved him.
Tatsuya lied down Ryo on his bed and undress him of his wet clothes.
Leaving him only in his underwear, he went to his cupboard and looked for a pair of pajamas.
Ueda got the boy dressed again and put the blanket over him.
He went to the bathroom and wet a towel to put it on Ryo’s forehead.
He let him sleep for awhile and got down on his kitchen to do some soup.
One hour later, Ryo woke up from a dream he had. He was at a wedding and the one marrying was his Hime. He couldn’t take it and screamed his lungs out but he woke up instead.
Hearing it, Tatsuya went upstairs to look for him.
“What happened?” he asked and sat next to Ryo. Placing his hand on his forehead, he could sense that the fever was still there. He sighed. “The fever is still there. Baka! What got into you to walk in the rain like that? Couldn’t it wait till tomorrow?” Tatsuya said sternly looking at Ryo in the eyes.
“Sorry… but it couldn’t wait” the other replied and stole a kiss from the boxer. “I love you Hime! Don’t say yes to Kamenashi, please?!” he begged and caressed his hands with his cold fingers.
“What? Kazuya? What about him? Sorry I don’t really understand what you mean… but I think you knocked your head or something? Is it because of the fever? Hahaha” Tatsuya laughed at him and pushed him back to lie down on the bed.
“No I…” Ryo tried to explain but Ueda shushed him to sleep and kissed his cheek. “Sleep now, you’ll talk to me tomorrow when the fever will be gone.” Tatsuya said and got out the room leaving Ryo really confused but also happy because he got a kiss.
It was dark outside when Ryo woke up again. He looked at his watch and read 2am. Was Ueda sleeping already? He got up from the bed and walked to the living room.
Lying on the sofa, Tatsuya had his head on his arm, he must have fell asleep like that.
Ryo stared at the sleeping form for awhile and came closer to him. He was about to put a blanket on him but the boy opened his eyes slowly.
“Ryo? Has the fever gone?” he said groggily while rubbing his sleepy eyes.
“Yeah, I think it’s gone now. Tatsuya I have to talk to you!” Ryo sat near him and took his hands in his.
“What is it?” the pretty boy asked. He was about to fall asleep again but Ryo kissed his hand.
“Tatsuya, I love you. You can’t say yes to Kamenashi!” he said and placed his head on Ueda’s shoulder.
“What is with saying yes to Kamenashi? I don’t understand really. Ryo what’s wrong with you? Did you went nuts?” Tatsuya was confused with what the other was saying.
“NO!! SHIGE TOLD ME! HE SAID KAMENASHI WILL CONFESS TO YOU TODAY AND THAT YOU WOULD PROBABLY ACCEPT!” Ryo almost screamed. He got up and turned like a crazy man while Tatsuya looked at him and giggled.
“What? Wait… NO! don’t tell me that you already said yes…” Ryo sat down again and hid his face in his hands.
“HAHAHAHHAHAHAAH you should see your face Ryo this is so funny damn! I can’t stop laughing sorry” Tatsuya laughed hard and almost rolled on the floor.
“It’s not funny I tell you.” Ryo sulked. “So? Why are you even laughing?” he asked.
“Kamenashi didn’t confess his undying love for me. I think Shige tricked you, well I don’t know why he did it though…” Tatsuya said after regaining his breath.
“What?? THAT BASTARD TRICKED ME?! How could he!!” Ryo got up and turned like a mad man again.
“Stop doing that will you? Sit here.” Tatsuya took the other’s hand and pulled him to sit next to him.
“I bet it’s that Pig’s idea! He kept on telling me to confess to you before I’m too late and I kept kicking his chin…” Ryo said in a small voice.
“Well that’s not really nice.” Tatsuya giggled and played with Ryo’s hair.
“So if Kamenashi didn’t confess his love, this mean I still have my chance with you?” Ryo pressed his head on Tatsuya’s hand liking the contact really much.
“Maybe… depends ~” The pretty boy said cheekily and kissed Ryo’s cheek.
“Depends?” The younger blushed realizing what Ueda just did.
“Hmm” Ueda nodded and stared at Ryo’s dark eyes.
“Don’t joke Hime, please I’m serious.” He stared back and leaned his face closer to the other.
“I didn’t know Nishikido Ryo can be this cute of a guy.” Tatsuya captured Ryo’s lips in his and gave a small innocent kiss.
“Does this mean yes?” the younger asked with kicked puppy-eyes.
“I love you too Ryo-kun since a long time ~” the princess smiled widely and they kissed passionately.
“I love you so much Hime I was so scared to lose you. I will kill Shige!” Ryo said after awhile.
“Don’t ~ without him, we somehow wouldn’t be together now…” Tatsuya whispered in his ear and placed his head on Ryo’s shoulder.
“Right… I don’t know how long I would take to confess to you if it wasn’t for that fake confession” the other said and kissed his Hime’s lips again. “I got addicted to you already” he smirked, placing his hands inside Tatsuya’s shirt.
