Yah! Boo! to 2007
So another year passes- 2007 leaving with an extended middle finger for sucking so profoundly, and a quiet snigger for all our hopes that 2008 will be better. Truly, my cynical gland is making an appearance. I have decided that with the dawning of a new year I will actually start posting in my journal and not just use it to lurk around fandom and quietly read fics when I think no-ones looking before vanishing ninja style. Apologies to those of you who receive this message. Chances are if I have friended you its cos I enjoyed at least 1 of your fics and have never let you know. Sorry about that- I swear on the freckles of The Ackles that I will do better. (I probably won't but I'll try.)
I'm also going to try my hand at writing. I swear to god the last thing I wrote was like 10 years ago and in the Highlander fandom. Please do not mock- I'm growing old and have forgotten how to punctuate. If you defriend I will understand. (Not *like* you understand. In fact I may send poo in the post- but I'll understand.) Also, new fangled livejournal things confuse me. I used post in mailing lists. Good Lord.... remember those days?...
In short- 1. Thank you all for many wonderful fics.
2. Andie will try and post but not bore you with my dull life.
3. Andie will try and remember what commas are for.
4. Andie will take time out of every day for the sober contemplation of freckles
and the lickability thereof
...In retrospect I probably should have done my first post sober. Damn you pink wine and your friend the ridiculously large wine glass. ( I swear 2 *teeny* glasses and you've finished a bottle.)
