(no subject)
today i ventured out of the cosy confines of our house (as opposed to yesterday when i actually stayed home all day long!) i am trying to go and see my lecturer, kirsten, but she was not in her office, so now I am waiting till 4:50 when i think she might get back.
so very soon all my exams (ok..exam!) and essay will be over, i cannot wait for the week of fun! which is 2 weeks long this year! lauren and i were discussing how our horizons for the week of fun have really broadened during our time at uni. In the first year week of fun we just went clubbing every night of the week to see how hardcore we could be! In the second we managed a couple of trips to pretty nearby places like Winchester. And this year...i am going to berlin, and she is going to glasgow!! so the only sad thing about that is that we won't be together, but we decided that's ok since we will get to spend the month of fun together after our finals! somehow everything gets names the x of fun in our house! yesterday she interviewed me for her empirical study, and we were saying our names at the beginning and i said "claire and lauren" and she said "interview OF FUN!!!" it made me laugh and i found it hard to answer the questions seriously!
Anyway i am going to stay at Rachel's next week before I go to Berlin so I am looking forward to that too. I talked to Ella and Becky on the phone....they are soooo adorable! i love it that they can talk to me now!
I have a new German intercambio, he is called Michael, and he is from....wait for it....Zehlendorf!!!! Anyway Sebastian is sadly leaving (on my birthday of all days!!!!!!!) and when i went to the linguistics class last week, sebastian said to michael "that is my intercambio" and michael turned and waved at me! i was slightly confused but then i realised sebastian must have said that. Anyway, after the class, Michael just came up and asked me if I wanted to meet up and stuff, so I was like "yeah!!" So I am excited for that!
well i should go and revise some spanish before dinner.
how crazy has neighbours been with the plane crash!!!!!!!!!! although to be honest, it is rather pathetic after Lost! no shots of the plane crashing etc. Poor Harold.
