Make a start on the next block (should have begun last weekend).
Attend a committee meeting in Nottingham on Friday, and give my first report as treasurer. This also entails chasing other people to do their bit.
Book more speakers for the seminar. Except people don't answer my emails.
Prove some theorems. I'm not meeting my "probationary targets".
Go to church. Just go.
Go on a conference. Abroad somewhere. Possibly give a talk. Just to satisfy another "target" .
Can anyone tell me why? Even if I do all these things, there will just be more things. It isn't going to get any better. This is how it is.
