I had the most relaxing day in a long while ..
I'd got a day package at a spa as a Valentine's Day present. With all the date conflicts and visiting relatives, today was the day I finally got to redeem it! And boy, what a day it was ... if you ever liked being pampered like a queen, a spa is the place to pretend you're one for a day :) A relaxing full body massage, a pedicure, a manicure and an hour long facial .. with soothing music playing in the background. An out-of-the-world lounge to rest in between treatments. Cute girls waiting on you, ferrying water, teas and other exotic drinks. Oh and a delightful gourmet lunch and some champagne to go with it .. by the time I was out of the robe and the cute spa slippers that came with it, I'd forgotten I had a job to go to, deadlines to meet and was reminded that I have a life to live :)
And now as a perfect ending to a perfect day, fondue dinner awaits ..
