Dear (journal, for once,)
Wow, I'm hating work more and more. I'm sick
of all the hicks that come in, bu then again, I do live in Maine, so....
Meh. Hicks. I feel unatural "angry"
feelings towards them. Maybe, because I was born here, grew up in
New York until second grade, and moved back; Perhaps, because
things like memory and social skills developed in New York, for me,
that made enough impact on me so that hicks seem unatural and creepy to
me.
I don't like being around them. They talk
about guns a lot. And when talk about guns, they make stupid
political statements about how Patriotism is an American thing;
It's not. Patriotism simply means to have pride in your
country. Nationalism is the want for self-rule.
I'd like to make another thing clear; WE ARE
NOT A DEMOCRACY. We are a Republic. We vote for
representives, and we "sway" their decision. Hence there being a
thing such as "popular vote". We wouldn't have things like the
Senet and Congress; Just us, whatever we're voting for, and the
people who count the votes. I'm not preaching that we should
change what we do, although I would often like to, I'm simply setting
the record straight. Those are DEFINITIONS, meaning, YOU CAN'T
CHANGE WHAT THEY MEAN.
Yes, I am liberal, if you wondered. *Shrugs.*
