Magic Knight Rayearth!

I watched the first fifteen or so episodes of Magic Knight Rayearth about fifteen years ago, making for a nice symmetry, yeah? But, alas, I couldn't get my hands on the rest of the series (I was watching fansubs borrowed from a cousin) and never finished watching it...until now!

I have issues with female characters who are insecure and terribly nice and try to save everyone-including-their-enemies (ie. most female characters, whether it be a shoujo or shounen series). They make me want to rip their throats out with my bare hands. :D

Then you shouldn't watch MKR! Everyone is terribly nice　(but not necessarily insecure)! Everyone has a good heart beneath their villainous exterior! You would hate it!

The MKR girls are at least willing to kill people though. :)

Oh good, I hate it when the hero(ine) refuses to kill people and just beats them up and/or converts them.

I think I might've watched a bit of MKR (like ten years ago?). But I guess my friend never rented the whole series, since I didn't even know there was a second season.

Mind you, the characters spend most of season 2 feeling bad about killing certain people. But at least they keep the action moving instead of moping about it.

You were probably at a more appropriate age to be watching MKR ten years ago...although knowing you, maybe you never had the pure heart necessary to appreciate this fine magical girl series!
