i had a dream
man looks at his son of 8 years
he sits on the couch that took him 4 months to pay off, sips a glass of Publix iced tea, that he bought from the hard earned money from sitting at a desk
computing numbers of something for some company that does something with numbers.
His son sits beside him
"Dad, whats up, you look sad."
The man sits on his couch, looks at his lovely son and replied with much depth, " Whats the point? You see. i make no difference in this world. I havent even ever seen central Park in the fall. Ive never gone ice skating, ive never missed a day of work or school.....im useless in an extremity."
the son simply replied, "but youve seen the broadside of a barn, youve seen Purple and green ketup, you felt sand in your shorts, and youve see the Knicks sweep the Dodgers....your the luckiest man on earth."
