So, remember that first post I made in this thing? You know, about that cat that was using my trunk as a scratch pole?

Yeah, I caught it. So, seriously, is nobody missing a cat? Male, not neutered, orange with a white nose, no collar or anything...

Guess I'll take care of him until someone claims him.

You should probably neuter it unless you want what happened with Alfred and Botan's cats...

Yeah, I know. But I can't really do that while at school, can I?

Yeah... unless the Care of Magical Creatures teacher knows how to do it...

Well, it's worth a shot, I guess.

And were you planning on asking me before you got it neutered?

floatyspells April 22 2010, 22:50:03 UTC
Well, I was planning on talking to you about it, at least.

Didn't really sound like it

I don't want to get it neutered...

I don't want to get it neutered.

It's really not fair to Tiger.

Well, ok, I agree it's not really fair, but still... We should probably get it done.

Can't we just not?

floatyspells April 22 2010, 23:10:05 UTC
Well, sure. But then we may have to deal with kittens, him picking fights with other cats, spraying... But if you're really that uncomfortable with it...

Is neutering him really the only way to prevent all of that, though? We have magic, after all. I can accept that sometimes it's necessary, but it's not really got to the point where we it's necessary, has it? Can neutering him be a last resort?

I mean really, what if someone wanted to...uh, snipsnip you as a precaution? He hasn't really done anything to provoke a neutering, except scratch your trunk.

Well, it's the easiest and most immediate solution, at least. And the one my parents would actually approve.

But sure, we can save it for a last resort.

And thanks, I really needed that image.

But still, he hasn't done any of that, so there's no need for a "solution" right now. And if you're worried about your parents, Tiger can live with me in the summer.

And you're welcome!

All right then. No neutering yet.

I'll make sure to come up with something like that for you soon.
