Well, ah, let's see. There are quite a few ways actually. I could quickly run down to the green houses and make you a harmless repellent, but your trunk might smell a bit... odd for a while. You could always charm your trunk, too. Cats don't particularly like getting their claws stuck or snagged into things, so perhaps if you changed the texture of it somehow. It might do you a bit of good to make a scratching post or get him a few toys, which I could make--
