Just Friends

A woman has a close male friend. This means that he is probably interested in her, which is why he hangs around so much. She sees him strictly as a friend. This always starts out with, you're a great guy, but I don't like you in that way. This is roughly the equivalent for the guy of going to a job interview and the company saying, You have a great ( Read more... )

And that's when the male realises that the female is just a shallow user who is only looking out for her own selfish wants. She's not worth the guy's time or emotional effort :( *hugs*

Personally? I would completely withdraw and have nothing do to with that person ever again :\ If they were in the same social circles, I would just not talk to them or acknowledge them again. But I don't find it too difficult to cut people off from my life.

I don't take too well to betrayal, but thank God, I've not been betrayed very often in my life. But that sort of thing... It rates as "One of those Things that Sefie will Not Tolerate". It's right up there with trading physical favours for stuff (money, items, etc), it's just that you're trading emotional favours instead.

You do that and every girl that comes in contact with you is then told what a horrible person and friend you are.

I'm glad you haven't been betrayed, its a terrible thing. *hug*

Awful, but very lulz-filled xD

I think I know whom you're referring to, and while not applying to all people, I personally would find myself a better companion to chase after. You already know, but I tried that at the beginning of the school year, and was miserable the first couple months while struggling with self doubt and lowering my self-worth because of this person. When I dropped him from my circle of friends (or rather, his friends dropped me -__-;), I actually felt a load being taken off my back, and you know the whole story with meeting/chasing Vince.

Yeah its funny and sad at the same time ^_^;

mmm I am sick of chasing, i am sick of being shot down, i am sick of being rejected with out excuse, and i am just generally sick of failing.

Sometimes the reason a girl can't be with a guy who seems perfect for her, and whom she knows is exactly what she's looking for in a partner, is because you just can't make yourself fall in love with someone. If you could, life would be so much easier.

Yeah love is a funny thing but I think sometimes girls can be ignorant to what love is or close themselves off to the thoughts of loving someone.
