Spent a nice bludgey day at the 'dro with Claire. Bought a packet of Tic-Tacs purely to go through redenvy and jasper_sun's checkout, a scarf, the Gosford Park DVD, some new sexy Mooks blue & yellow fitted boxers, and two Penguin classics- Nancy Mitford Love in a Cold Climate and a book of Ian Fleming's Bond stories. Yay me. Imagine our trilling with gay laughter ( Read more... )

Here Here

It's time someone put this boy in his place.
Maybe he should realise his net friends aren't the only ones who read this....maybe people he works with do too.

Say what you want about your life Ian, but if you are going to write about a professional process in the way you have, then be prepared to face the reprecussions of that. If you had qualms about the show you should have said something in the first place instead of posting it on your insular web community.

We knew what you were saying all along about us.I hope you can find directors, designers, stage managers, lighting operators and designers and dancers who don't know how to use the internet.

Okay. Now I've had some time to think.

Firstly, I'm genuinely sorry if anything I said or wrote upset you. That wasn't my intention.

Secondly, I'm a fucking idiot, obviously. Sometimes I just don't think things through.

Thirdly, if you knew what we were saying about you all along perhaps that should've been addressed somewhere in the process too.

I've gone through everything and got rid of entries which may have been offensive.

Despite all the problems, I did actually enjoy working with you all- although at times you did get on my nerves. But that's just human.

Trust me, I'll be a lot more careful. I can't stress enough that my opinion of the dancing was exactly that- my opinion. I received a wide variety of comments about it from all ranges of the spectrum.

I am, however, deeply worried that the only place you felt you could find my true opinion was on this silly livejournal. Because half the time they're not the true opinions at all. Re: the 'allied thing' that wasn't a complaint- Tanya & I always understood that the QUT people would naturally be 'allied' purely because you all knew and understood each other.

Anyway, it was fun.
