a wood board. they will never get it. most know i like skatboarding, but few have felt it. theres this energy that you get when your out there, carving the bowls, sailing a smooth air, just this energy that you have and no one can touch. its yours. it can be compared to the gut feeling of listening to really loud music. it makes me sad that kids say "this place sucks" or get mad because they cant land something. thats not skateboarding. ive dedicated nine years of my life to skateboarding so far, and in that time, i still havent been able to word the feeling of shredding it up and going faster and higher and longer. most people will never get it. the feeling of weightlessnes as you loft off a 12 foot tall vertical wave of concrete, looking back and only seeing sky ahead of you. you could touch it.
