And so we are on
So that was the end our two ep opening for the fifth series and I must admit that it wasn't that bad for an opening, now we can finally go on to the real series.
So what did we have?

First I must admit that Colin's face when they were red from the cold and his blue eyes that looked even bluer did it for me, he looked so good like that that I wished he would stay in the cold just for that.
So we found out a couple of things today:
1. Arthur's bane is himself. Well no shit Sherlock! We already knew that! The guy is too trusting and naive for his own good not to mention the good of all of Albion, how the hell is he going to be the once and future king when he keeps on trusting the wrong people and not listening to Merlin? Fuck knows.
2.Aithusia is under some sort of spell, at least that is what I got from that scene with Merlin, which would explain a lot, like why the hell does he look so ugly compared to Kilgarrah and why he is with Morgana in the first place. He looked really sad in that scene, Merlin is roaring in dragon tongue and Aithusia is like 'I'm sorry master' I wish I could give him a hug.
3. Morgana lost it. The scene with Mordred at the table was scary like shit. Katie's eyes were glinting with unholy light and she looked really insane, like really. I think that was the point Morderd decided he would be better off without her, frankly I have to agree with him, she just doesn't know when to quit does she?
4. Gwen is really stupid. I mean come on girl! You had the bitch in your hand right? Kill her! Why lure a dangerous man into Camelot and lose some three good (ish) guards and then have her escape! So now are we going to have another crazy sorceress bitch out for revenge?
5. Mordred is more clever than I gave him credit for. If this is his plan on revenge then it's looking good boy! I must admit that if he really is actually good I would be a bit disappointed, plus it wouldn't make sense but then again this is the beebs we are talking about isn't it?
6. Apparently glowing aliens are the key to wisdom. And only Merlin will be smart enough (or stupid enough) not to seek info from them, err, it. To be honest I was laughing too hard everytime that thing was on screen so it could have been really important.
Things I really liked:
# Our boys. I watched the first ep before this one to get my Merthur bar stocked and then this ep came and my bar overflowed! They were so cute! The wink Arthur gave Merlin after he got beat up and that part where they are crawling up that tunnel and Arthur's face at the great view (wink wink nudge nudge) he has in front of him. Oh, and did I mention the fact that Arthur ran after Merlin when he left to deal with Aithusia? Did I? That was pure fluff! I want that amount of Merthur every ep!
# Merlin's interaction with Mordred. I'm pretty sure Mordred has a crush on Merlin, he kept staring at him the whole ep and that ending dialogue? Merlin's smirk when he told him that if Arthur knew he had magic things would have been different? Totally threat.
All in all I think it was waay better than last time.
