[Well, it's been almost an entire week since Lyon's awkward date with the Prince.  She spent the first several days afterward moping around her room in her pajamas, the second few days after that moping around the house in her pajamas, and the next few days after that moping around town, though this time fully dressed.  She's mostly feeling better

[Eventually, Lilly is passing by the pet store. She doesn't recognize Lyon, but seeing all the puppies is enough to make her stop and look.]

They're kind of loud, aren't they?

[Also, Lilly is clad in her full traveling outfit, from sword to hat. She is amazing, okay?]

They're just excited.

[Lyon smiles, pressing her finger up against the glass. The puppies, of course not knowing any better, jump up excitedly and try to lick and nip at it. Lyon just giggles again.]

I can see that. They certainly remind me of someone I know.

[Lilly looks at the puppies, a little curious.]

I wonder if the one in the back is sick...

I think that one's just shy. He probably gets pushed around a lot for being so small.

It's not that simple, really. If he's pushed around just trying to get attention, you have to wonder how well he competes for food and water. He probably needs a good home.

Oh, maybe you're right... poor thing.

Well, are you going to buy it, then?

I think so. I can't just leave him here after that.
