So today when my mother was bitching at my father about how unattractive she thinks he is, I told her I hated hearing fighting all the time in this house. Anyways, she didn't like that very much and turned it around on me, proceeding to scream and scream, causing me to do the same. So now I'm in trouble for 'interfering' and for 'being rude'. Her arguments supporting both:

1. Interfering
- I'm not the queen, so it doesn't matter what I do or don't like, because she doesn't care.
- If I don't like hearing screaming all the time, I should move out. She followed this up with, "You better find out how to get a student loan."

2. Being rude
- I'm 'the daughter' and she's 'the mother', so I'm not allowed to get angry; only she is.

As you can see, I'm very displeased with living here. The afternoon was filled with much crying, tearing at my skin, and other forms of nonintrusive self abuse. Now, I think the question no longer is 'What's making me behave this way?', and is now, 'How can I make it stop?'

Oh, also, she says I'm not allowed to see Matt anymore. Because she's "going to make [me] pay" for what I "did" today. Right. She didn't catch on after the first 7 months and if she thinks I'm going to give up now after almost 2 years, she's crazy. I guess she thinks it's fair punishment for giving her a reality check.
