I have already talked about
Muted when I had just finished the first arc. But now we're nearing the end (there will be 125 webtoon-long chapters), and I want to recommend it more wholeheartedly.
It's modern fantasy. Camille Séverin is a young witch, from one of the many witch clans from New Orleans. For her 18th birthday, she must summon a demon with blood magic. But nothing happens as planned...
When I started reading, I was very tense about Camille's abusive aunt, the head of the family. And you know that? It was on purpose. In a world with demons, she's still the main villain, and it's the point, that Camille must reach outside the family even if it sounds scary, that it does get better.
The art is very nice. The plot is slow, but all the part that's "only" character development and worldbuilding serves a purpose.
Camille is a lesbian, the main romance is poly f/f/f. It's not the main plot. But it's part of Camille's character arc, and it feels natural, it happens as both cause of consequence of how she slowly changes and gets happier and stronger.
