I know most of North America is starting Autumn but we don't have Autumn here. We have Summer and "Not Summer". Summer is from March through October and Not Summer (aka Tourist Season) is November, December, January and February. Heck, a couple of years ago we had Hurricane Wilma less than a week before Halloween.
I think Baby is finally getting into her groove for school. A lot more is expected this year and it took some adjustment on her part to step up to the plate. Now that she is in middle school, I have online access to her grades and assignments. It helps that she knows that Daddy and I can check whenever we want.
I have spent a lot of my spare time in the past week reloading my laptop. I finally couldn't stand the ongoing problems anymore and re-initialized it back to the factory image. What a pain in the neck (or other unnamed body part)! Fortunately I was able to do it by my choice and was able to backup everything important. It was wonderful to see my email and iTunes music come back with minimal gnashing of teeth. I think I will get a larger disk for future backups so I don't have to overwrite the backup I took right before starting over. One never knows when one will NEED a file or document from the past. Tonight I reinstalled my printer and tomorrow night will be Streets and Maps. Unless I have to install it for school, I am NOT putting Office 2007 back on this puppy. I got to the point where I can use it if I need to (like if they force an upgrade at work) but it is a system hog and I don't get anything new or better that I care about. I'd also like to tell MS what they can do with their ribbons...
Until next time...
