Where has Jillian gone?

No where. I'm just one busy employee of The Mouse! That I am finally get out to the parks more. oh!  And it got strangely cold down here (50's in the sun!)  and I have had a cold for two weeks now.  I'm not dead! ^_^

Sister update: My sister, Rochelle, who was diagnosed with cancer towards the end of September ,started chemo two weeks later, and seems to be doing very well. Her tumors have shrunk so mush so that she can barely feel them anymore. She has some pretty amazing friends! They have started this fund raiser to help her pay the medical bills. My sister's family does not have insurance, so this is a huge help. Not only that but it has been a HUGE amount of support of family, friends, and church members alike. The first event was held almost a month ago it was named The Fun Run. There was a fee to register - as a family or as an individual. And there was food and running/walking, and just a lot of hanging out!

It was so sweet. My brother-in-law, Ryan, is a co-owner of a concrete business. Every one of his employees showed up and they were all wearing sweatshirts with their company name and little pink ribbons!

Something like over $18,000 was raised at this one event! Just for my sister! Just thought gets me a bit emotional....

Later, like a week later, they had 'Crop for her Cure'. A lite dinner and scrapbooking party was involved (my sister has always loved scrapbooking).

Through out all this my sisters hair started to shed big time. So she decided to cut her hair! It turned out really cute! ^_^ But it was still shedding. Finally she couldn't take it anymore and shaved her head on November 6th, 2007. And as promised her oldest son, Cole, also shaved his head as well as her amazing husband, Ryan.  can I get an "awwwwww" ^_^

She has since bought like two or three wigs, and a couple of head covers! ^_^ They even took pictures of Ryan wearing her wigs... it's hilarious!

In my own weird way, I got my hair cut short, partly because I was sick of my limp long hair, and partly to show some sort of support for my sister....

Next my nephew...I'll try and make a long story short. My nephew was born Feb. 10, 2006 with some condition (forgive me I don't remember the name) That fused all the bones in the left side of his face (babies bones are not fused, that happens over time) anyways... this prevents the left side of his face to grow (obviously) which also makes it hard for the brain to grow. So, to prevent brain damage, doctors who specialize in this sort of thing (It happens more than you think) (and these doctors just happen to be located in Houston, where they lived at the time) they must go in and peel back the skin and break the left side to free up the bones to fuse correctly. This operation was done just after Christmas of  2006. It was a success, to say the least. He had to wear a helmet of sorts to continue to help the bones in his head. But, just lately parts of Jackson's (My nephew) head have been bulging out...like...giant zits (sorry for the gross analogy, I cringed when I was told that). Somehow between his skin and his skull has gotten infected, so they have go back in and scrub it clean. Well, that was all set up for Tuesday. but when they went into the doctors for a pre-checkup the pediatrican, i guess, started freakin' out (my dad's words, not mine)  and called the doctors to do it the next day (this Saturday the 17th). That's all I know right now, I am going to call after this and see if my mom has any more info for me.

My pregnant sister (who is unmarried and living at home) pregnant with twins, has finally come up with the names of her two boys... Gavin and Tristan! so cute.

GREAT NEWS I've finally seen Belle! I've been in Disney for almost three months and I just got my picture with her last week. it was amazing. She was great. I really am having a wonderful time here. Mostly trying to keep my mind off home. Because if I think about it too much I get home sick. I want to be there and show my support to the fam.
