Face Lift
Alright I am gonna go through a temporary Live Journal face lift (mostly just Icons) so all my icons will be the same on everything for who knows how long.
Updates:
Our apartment internet service switched to cable one (from whatever it was before.) And for some reason the managers felt it necessaryto block certain web pages like Myspace, Facebook, and YouTube! buttheads, where do they get off thinking that they can block websites!? It's none of their flippin' business what websites I go to, eseically since those three I mentioned aren't something like porn sites! GRRRRRR! I am pissed. I wanted to download DL scenes from the last episode.... so pissed....
Which leads to my other update. I know why I can't upload my videos I've made (I've actually known for a while) and now I feel like an idiot because I should have known what was wrong all along ( I didn't save the videos on my computer!) but I can't do anything about it because my computer (or Laptop) doesn't have enough space on it to save them, and even if I could, now that Youtube is blocked I'm stuck. grrr. I am so proud of my videos too. Maybe when I go home in July I will take care of it... pssshh.
Me and Jacob are both Originally from Washington (each on different sides of the state, and if any of you know Washington at all, you know that's like being in two different states.) Anyways, Mt. Rainier is the frickin awesome-est place ever on this side of the US and my family goes camping there all the time. Jacob, on the other hand (who actually lives closer) has NEVER been there! That's just not normal, Mt. Rainier is....just...amazing, and he has never been there, and he's from Washington! So I told him that when he goes home (before he goes to Mexico) that he HAD to go to Mt. Rainier, even if it's just for a day. And in return I would watch all of the Star Trek movies. (neither deal is to hard to ask, Jacob wants to go, and I wont to see the Star Trek movies) so last Friday we went and rented the 2nd movie (we couldn't find the 1st) and watched it. It was actually really good! ^_^ I love that Khan quoted Moby Dick (where the main character ruins himself and all around him to chase some'thing' he hates with a passion) and Admiral Kirk quotes A Tale of Two Cities (one of my favs.) (where the main character gives his life for those he loves!) "'Tis a far far better thing I do then I've ever done. 'Tis a far far better resting place I go...." I LOVE that line. (this would be the movie that Spock gives his life for Those on the Enterprise) Very touching ending! ^_^
