State of the Jack
He was in good health at his checkup last week, but our skinny dog really does like the food change: he's overweight! Oops. We'd realized he was getting chunky and the vet confirmed it; we're going to try to get five pounds off. Since he was underweight at 70 pounds and overweight at 80, he has a pretty narrow window. He's still very playful all the time; it's hard to realize that he's 8 or 9. In general he seems to like the new food a lot better; he still occasionally goes "off" food but it's less frequently than it happened on the old food, and he eats it a lot more enthusiastically than he ate the old food.
