Now I've just got the worst/best image of Katie kind of... planting a seed... in Naomi, and Emily just kind of hovering over the top of them going, "No, no - you need to use two fingers... really work them in there" and looking all analytical about it.
Yes, see - this is kind of what I think. Effy is *so* clever and they just understated that in S3. And, to be honest, I just never really bought that someone as insightful and interesting could go for someone as dull and lifeless as Freddie. I dunno, maybe she sees his potential or whatever.
But she does have a heart, she just needed to get out of that shitty situation she put herself in. And now, she's actually with Freddie and it's a bit 'Oh right, he IS that dull but lovely so okay but... what else is going on?' plus she's just discovered something VERY interesting about Katie and is going to want to stick around to see how it all pans out, and possibly help Katie to be less moronic along the way. Not that Effy's got all the answers here, by any means, she just *seems* like she does.
And, dude, unfeeling? There's going to be PLENTY of feeling going on, don't you worry. Do I need to do the exaggerated wink again?
